On November 3–4, 2025, the Avaza National Tourist Zone hosted the International Conference and EXPO “Development of the Construction, Industrial, Chemical, and Energy Sectors of Turkmenistan.” The large-scale event brought together government officials, business representatives, investors, and experts from across the world to exchange views on advancing sustainable development, innovation, and digital transformation in the country’s key economic sectors.
Over two days, participants discussed emerging trends and investment opportunities in areas such as construction and housing, industrial modernization, energy efficiency, renewable energy development, and the expansion of public-private partnerships. Special attention was given to strategies aimed at strengthening Turkmenistan’s industrial capacity, diversifying its energy mix, and fostering technological integration across infrastructure projects.
The conference featured thematic sessions, presentations, and B2B meetings that facilitated active dialogue between state institutions and private enterprises. Exhibitors at the accompanying expo showcased cutting-edge technologies, advanced materials, and innovative engineering solutions designed to promote environmentally responsible and resource-efficient production.
Attendees emphasized the importance of global collaboration and the exchange of best practices in achieving the long-term sustainability goals outlined by Turkmenistan’s national development strategy. Many speakers highlighted the country’s growing role as a regional hub for energy and industry, supported by ongoing reforms and modernization efforts.
As a result of the conference, several cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed between Turkmen and international companies, paving the way for joint projects in renewable energy, industrial equipment supply, and construction technology development. These new partnerships are expected to stimulate investment flows and accelerate the adoption of innovative solutions across Turkmenistan’s economic sectors.
The 2025 edition of the conference once again confirmed its status as a key international platform that bridges policy, investment, and innovation, strengthening ties between Turkmenistan and its global partners while contributing to the sustainable growth of its economy.
